April F. Cooper is a Christian wife, a mother to four children, and a daily grace recipient. With two master’s degrees, and a graduate certificate in pastoral counseling, her career as an educator spans many years. Additionally, she is the founder of a very small nonprofit called “Lavender, Lilac and Lilies” that has given free floral arrangements, floral wreaths and small gifts as encouragement to those celebrating birthdays and milestones while living in shelters, senior centers, group homes, etc. Because of the 2020 pandemic, the Lavender, Lilac and Lilies’ mission has now shifted to providing “welcome baskets” to those moving from homelessness to permanent housing.

April’s free time is typically spent with her family, writing, arranging flowers, dabbling in photography, or passionately continuing to learn American Sign Language. Of course, you can find her – quite often – at the beach as well!

She firmly believes this book is a testament to what can happen when you wait on the Lord for direction. Each devotion in this book was a gift from God that April believes she was privileged to write.
